Your desk. Not your office. Not a hot seat.
A dedicated desk is for the person who works alone but wants somewhere permanent. You don't need a whole office. You need a desk that's yours. Same chair every day. Lockable drawers for the things you'd rather not lug back and forth. Your monitor stays plugged in. Your notebook stays in the drawer. You arrive, sit down, get on with it.
It's the in-between. More commitment than a hot desk, less than a private office. £50 a week, rolling weekly. No long contract.
Who books a dedicated desk?
Solo freelancers in a rhythm
You're in three to five days a week. Your gear is yours. The chair is yours. The drawer is yours. Walk in and start.
Anyone with a second monitor
Lugging a screen home each night is the worst thing about hot desking. Dedicated desks solve it. Leave the monitor, leave the dock, leave the keyboard.
Confidential papers
Bookkeepers, accountants, paralegals. The drawer locks. You don't have to carry the case home.
Full-time remote workers
You moved out of Sheffield for the schools. Your office is here now. Same desk, same routine, same chair.
Side-business owners
You're still employed and the side business is taking shape. A dedicated desk is your second-life HQ.

Common questions.
What's the difference between a hot desk and a dedicated desk?
A hot desk is any free seat in the space. Pay per day or per week, take whatever's available. A dedicated desk is your own assigned seat with lockable drawers. Cost is £30/week (hot) vs £50/week (dedicated). Most people start on a hot desk and upgrade when they're in three or more days a week.
Can I leave my monitor and equipment on a dedicated desk?
Yes. That's most of the point. Your gear stays set up. You walk in and start work in 30 seconds.
Are the drawers actually lockable?
Yes. Each dedicated desk has lockable storage. You hold the key.
How much does a dedicated desk cost?
£50 per week, rolling. No setup fee. Cancel any week through the app.
Is this a long contract?
No. Rolling weekly. The current week is the only commitment.
Can I share a dedicated desk with a colleague who's in on different days?
Not as standard. But if two people are happy to share keys and storage, talk to us. We'd treat it as one membership with two named users.
Can I have a meeting at my dedicated desk?
Quick chats, yes. Anything longer or confidential should use the meeting room. £20/hour, members and visitors.
