A desk when you need one. Nothing more.
A hot desk is the simplest way to use Worksop Workspace. You pay for the time you need. A single day or a rolling week. And you take any free seat on the main floor. No assigned spot. No commitment. Come in when work needs the focus and a real desk; skip the days you don't.
Used by remote and hybrid workers, freelancers, tradespeople doing admin, parents on inset days, people whose home Wi-Fi has gone down, and anyone who's simply tired of buying flat whites to justify a café seat.
A few common reasons people buy a hot desk.
One-off days
A specific day when home doesn't work. £12 buys you the desk, the Wi-Fi, the coffee, the focus.
A week between things
£30 for a rolling week. Cheaper than 2.5 day passes. Come Monday, Tuesday, Friday. Your choice.
Home Wi-Fi down
Same-day fix. Walk in, plug in, 900 Mbps fibre that doesn't blink on a video call.
Kids at home
School holidays, inset days, half-term. Get out of the house, get the work done by lunchtime.
Builders in
The week the kitchen is being ripped out. Drop in for the days you need to be online.
Freelancer days
A serious base for client work without a long-term lease.
Hybrid commuters
The remote half of your hybrid week, closer to home than Sheffield or Doncaster.
Coffee-shop refugees
Same daily spend as three flat whites, but with plugs at every seat and proper Wi-Fi.

Common questions.
What is a hot desk?
A hot desk is an unassigned seat on the main floor. You buy a day pass or a weekly subscription, walk in, and take any free seat. Unlike a dedicated desk (where the same seat is reserved for you), hot desk seats roll over to whoever's next in.
How much does a hot desk cost at Worksop Workspace?
Day Pass £12 (drop in any time). Hot Desk Weekly £30 (rolling. Cancel any time). No setup fee.
Do I need to book a specific desk?
No. Hot desks are first-come, first-served. Walk in during opening hours and take any free seat.
What are opening hours?
Phase 1 manned hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. From Phase 2 onwards, members will be able to access the space outside those hours via the member app.
What's the difference between Day Pass and Weekly?
A Day Pass (£12) is one day. Hot Desk Weekly (£30) is unlimited access for a week, rolling, paid by direct debit. The weekly pays for itself after about 2.5 days a week of usage.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free on-site parking with no time limits during opening hours.
Can I take video calls from a hot desk?
Yes. The main floor has a relaxed working volume. For long, sensitive, or private calls, the meeting room books by the hour at £20.
Can I cancel the weekly anytime?
Yes. The Hot Desk Weekly is rolling. Cancel via the member app whenever you like. There's no notice period beyond the current week.
