Our opening date is to be announced. This website is accepting enquiries, not bookings. An enquiry does not create a membership or reserve a space.
"Worksop Workspace", "we", "us" or "our" refers to the business operating from 30 Carlton Road, Worksop, Nottinghamshire. You can contact us at hello@worksopworkspace.com.
1. Membership
1.1 Types of membership
We offer the following membership types:
- Hot Desk. Access to any available desk in the communal workspace during business hours. Available as a day pass or weekly rolling membership.
- Shared desks only. We do not offer private offices or permanently assigned desks.
1.2 Term and cancellation
Weekly coworking is charged weekly until cancelled, with no fixed term or notice period. Individually billed members can cancel through their account or ask the team for help. Company-billed changes must be arranged by the account holder. Not attending does not cancel billing. Day passes are one-off purchases; room bookings have separate terms. Confirm the end of billing and your paid-through access with the team if unsure.
1.3 Changes to membership
You may upgrade or change your membership type at any time by contacting us. Changes take effect from the following week's billing date.
2. Payment
2.1 Fees
Current pricing is displayed on the Membership page. Prices are in pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
2.2 Billing
Membership fees are charged weekly in advance. Payment is processed securely via our payment provider. By providing payment details, you authorise us to collect weekly payments until your membership is cancelled in accordance with clause 1.2.
2.3 Late or failed payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to collect the payment again. Access to the workspace may be suspended until outstanding amounts are settled. Persistent non-payment may result in termination of membership.
3. Access and use of the space
3.1 Access control and membership status
This facility is a managed, private commercial workspace operating under UK Planning Class E. It is not a place of public resort or an unrestricted public building.
All arrivals must be recorded using the appropriate staffed or approved member process. A visitor or room attendee does not necessarily need a membership account. Weekly membership requires staff onboarding, an ID check and induction; unstaffed independent access requires separate approval. Payment alone does not grant independent entry. Entry is limited to:
- members holding a current weekly coworking membership;
- holders of a valid day pass for that day;
- people attending a confirmed meeting room booking, and their registered attendees;
- people holding a place on a pre-booked event; and
- visitors accompanied throughout by a member of staff, for example on a viewing.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual who does not hold a valid, pre-registered booking or active membership. Anonymous or unticketed walk-ins are not permitted.
Day passes must be registered and paid for before entry. This may be done in advance or on arrival at the check-in point, but never after entering the building.
Event guests must register before the event's published cutoff. Registration is separate from admission, which is managed by staff. Ask the organiser for the registration deadline and arrival instructions.
We operate a paperless system. Your registration and entry scan create a live record of everyone inside the building at any time, which forms our fire roster under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Event capacities are capped to match the building’s fire exit capacity.
3.2 Opening hours
Final staffed hours will be confirmed before opening. Day visitors attend while staff are on site. Weekly membership does not automatically include evening, weekend or unstaffed entry.
3.3 Conduct
Members and guests are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times. We operate a quiet working environment on the ground floor. Please keep noise to a level that does not disturb others. Calls should be taken in designated areas where available.
3.4 Prohibited conduct
The following are not permitted on the premises:
- Behaviour that is disruptive, offensive, threatening, or discriminatory
- Illegal activity of any kind
- Soliciting or cold-calling other members
- Bringing animals onto the premises (guide dogs and assistance animals excepted)
- Smoking or vaping anywhere in the building
We reserve the right to ask any person to leave the premises immediately and to terminate their membership without refund if these rules are breached.
3.5 Guests
Arrange guests with the team or include them in your room booking as appropriate. Staff must record their arrival and departure. Guest admission is not an additional coworking entitlement or independent door pass. Please confirm the suitable space and any guest charges before inviting someone.
4. Personal property
Worksop Workspace takes reasonable care of the premises but accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property left in the building. You are responsible for your own belongings. We recommend not leaving valuable items unattended.
5. Our property and facilities
Members must treat the building, furniture, and equipment with care. Any damage caused intentionally or through negligence may be charged to the responsible member. Please report any maintenance issues or damage to a member of staff promptly.
6. Room bookings
The podcast studio and boardroom are bookable separately and are subject to their own booking terms, which will be provided at the time of booking. Room bookings must be cancelled with reasonable notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.
7. Health and safety
Discuss any access or evacuation assistance requirements with staff before your visit so appropriate arrangements can be confirmed. Members must complete their induction and follow the confirmed emergency procedures. Visual as well as audible alarm notification is planned; the final safety arrangements remain subject to commissioning and sign-off. Do not send medical details through the public enquiry form or chatbot.
Respecting confidential information
Respect other members' conversations, screens and documents. Do not record or share their information without permission. Use an appropriate private space for sensitive discussions and confirm it meets your professional requirements; a shared workspace is not a guarantee of acoustic confidentiality.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Worksop Workspace is not liable for any loss of business, income, data, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to access the workspace. Our total liability to any member for any claim shall not exceed the membership fees paid in the preceding four weeks.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Data protection
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering into a membership, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of any material changes. Continued use of the workspace after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at hello@worksopworkspace.com or write to us at 30 Carlton Road, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S80 1PH.
